In the late spring of 1890, Vincent Van Gogh relocates to the village of Auvers-sur-Oise, close to Paris, where he is under the care of Dr. Gachet and resides in a modest inn. Less than 70 days later, Vincent tragically succumbs to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. During this period, he immerses himself in painting landscapes and portraits. Vincent’s brother Theo, along with his wife Johanna and their infant, come to visit Auvers. Vincent displays his playful and charming nature, capturing the interest of Gachet’s daughter Marguerite, who is much younger than him, as well as a young maid named Cathy at the inn, a Parisian prostitute, and Johanna. Right before his untimely end, Vincent makes a trip to Paris, argues with Theo, criticizes his own artistic achievements, enjoys a dance at a brothel, and shows varying affection towards Marguerite.
