Uncertain Glory

Set in the backdrop of Aragon in 1937, “Uncertain Glory” follows the story of Lluís (Marcel Borràs), a young officer in the Republican army stationed at a temporarily inactive front. During his stay, he becomes smitten by Carlana (Núria Prims), a mysterious widow who cunningly manipulates him to forge a document granting her authoritative control over the area. Lluís’s confidant, Soleràs (Oriol Pla), a disgraced officer, uncovers this deceit. Instead of revealing the truth, Soleràs requests a favor: he wants Lluís to send his son and wife away from the danger in Barcelona, secretly harboring feelings for Lluís’s wife, Trini (Bruna Cusí).
