On a Friday night in Toronto’s lower west side, the lively conversation from a dinner party at Harry and Carol’s upscale condo drifts out through the open balcony. Below, in a nearby alley, Pretty and Johnny, two cocaine users, are indulging in their own reckless gathering. As the dinner party winds down, the hostess mysteriously vanishes.
