The Mural of Siqueiros

In the 1930s, the renowned Mexican muralist David Alfaro Siqueiros embarks on a journey to Argentina, aiming to deliver lectures and create a politically charged mural. However, his work encounters resistance from local political entities. Natalio Botana, a media tycoon and acquaintance of the Argentine President Agustín P. Justo, invites Siqueiros to contribute to the cultural section of his newspaper, Critica, and to paint a mural in the basement of his estate, Villa Los Granados. Siqueiros agrees, and his wife, the poet Blanca Luz Brum, joins him. Her arrival and subsequent romance with Botana stir tensions in the household, arousing the jealousy of his influential anarchist wife, Salvadora Medina Onrubia, and Siqueiros himself.
