High school guidance counselor Jeff and his colleague, Anne, are known for being responsible, kind-hearted, and, admittedly, quite dull. They sadly watch as others around them effortlessly find love, while they continually fall flat in the romance department. Reaching the edge of loneliness, they decide to reinvent themselves, shedding their predictable personas for new, bold, and confident alter egos. Gone are Jeff’s all-male book club meetings and Anne’s failed flirtations with Jeff’s enticing neighbor Max, as they embark on a summer of wild nights, filled with partying and new experiences. Naturally, not everything goes as they hoped.
