Overview
As the planet Thundera faces destruction, its inhabitants urgently flee, narrowly escaping annihilation by a relentless band of mutants. Most escape ships are lost, leaving only a handful of survivors—the ThunderCats. With their ship at half-power, the group, led by Jaga, are forced to chart a course toward the nearest planet. While the remaining seven are in stasis, Jaga heroically pilots the ship until his death, resulting in a crash landing on Third Earth. There, the ThunderCats forge alliances with local groups and construct a formidable fortress. They face constant danger from Mumm-Ra, the ageless embodiment of malevolence, along with the mutant horde responsible for the destruction of their race.
