After her parents’ separation, Shima Sumitomo ends up living with her mom, feeling uneasy around her stepfather, and struggles to connect with classmates at her high school. Deciding to start anew, she moves to Hokkaido to live with her dad. There, she begins attending a new high school where she meets two popular classmates, Gen Tatebayashi and Wao Sakurai. The school has a unique social rule: “Gen and Wao are for everyone,” and breaking it leads to social exclusion. Despite this, Shima Sumitomo gradually grows closer to both Gen and Wao.
