In 1962, the Japanese military once again takes down a gigantic kaiju in Yomama Bay. Meanwhile, Professor Hiro Honda saves the creature’s offspring by spiriting away a peculiar red egg to Cincinnati, Ohio. However, disaster strikes when the egg accidentally ends up being flushed down a toilet upon arrival, ultimately disappearing into the Ohio River. Due to nuclear testing in the area, the egg is unearthed by Dr. Blowheart and his assistant, Dr. Shirley Yujest. They soon encounter Prof. Honda, who reveals that the egg is home to the elusive Notzillasaurus Partiontilldon. Professor Honda shares that the creature will stay small unless exposed to alcohol, which would cause it to balloon in size and threaten the nearest city.
