In “Mot” (2014), a group of friends—Hyun-myung, Doo-yong, and Gun-woo—gather by a secluded pond to mark their final day of high school and celebrate Kyung-mi’s birthday, who is Sung-pil’s sister. As the night progresses, Gun-woo and Kyung-mi head home for a quick errand but mysteriously don’t return. The friends search for them, only to discover Gun-woo’s damaged scooter and Kyung-mi’s lifeless body at the edge of town, while Gun-woo is nowhere to be found. Fast forward four years, Hyun-myung returns to town and crosses paths with his former companions. The mystery of that fateful night starts to unravel. Watch “Mot” (2014).
