Rebecca, also known as Mrs. Claus, is concerned that her tired, overworked husband, Mr. Claus, has lost his holiday cheer. To restore his joy, she decides to secretly travel to a location where she is certain the Christmas spirit is alive: New York City, a place of fond memories where she first fell for Nick. During her visit, Rebecca meets Joe, a compassionate police officer, at a bustling New York diner. This kind-hearted grandmother finds a friend in Joe, who shares with her that he’s going through a rough patch, as he and his wife, Lucy, are on the brink of divorce. Understanding the love still present between Joe and Lucy, Rebecca offers to serve as the family’s nanny until Christmas.
