Missed Connections

Directed by Brandon Ho and penned by Joseph Reidhead, “Missed Connections” is a heartwarming romantic comedy exploring themes of love, self-discovery, fate, and the unexpected joy of sandwiches. The storyline follows Marc Reid, played by Kevin O’Keefe, a jaded romance author who reluctantly agrees to a blind date with Melissa, arranged by his exuberant sister Julia, portrayed by Sarah Kent. However, with a mix-up at the apartment complex, Marc mistakenly picks up Jessie, played by Tatum Langton, instead of Melissa. As their evening progresses, Marc and Jessie reconnect with old friends Gary (Bryce Chamberlain) and Mary (Renny Grames) and also make some new acquaintances. The situation further complicates with the presence of Jessie’s boyfriend, Trent (Lawrence Fernandez). Will this accidental encounter help Jessie and Marc find true love? Perhaps Jessie will not only rekindle Marc’s belief in romance but also ignite his creative writing spark, or perhaps they’re destined to become just another missed connection.
