Charlie, a charismatic but often unsuccessful ladies’ man in his early 30s, works as a waiter in New York City, hoping to sell his book, “7 STEPS OF HEALING THE MALE BROKEN HEART.” With finances dwindling, he has little choice but to seek a roommate to share his small apartment. Unexpectedly, the first person to respond is Pam, his ex-girlfriend and the muse behind his book, who vanished without explanation. Once vibrant and wealthy, Pam is now struggling and unkempt. This marks the start of a new chapter as Charlie aims to uncover why she left and what has happened to her during the three-year hiatus. As he navigates the possibility of new romance, he must find the courage to support Pam’s recovery without reigniting past emotions.
