Love on the Side

In the quaint town where Eve Stuckley works tirelessly at the Hog-Chow Diner, she finds herself hopelessly in love with the local heartthrob, Jeff Sweeney. After years of longing for Jeff, Eve decides it’s time to follow her heart. However, her plan takes an unexpected turn when the stunning Linda Avery arrives in town during the swelteringly hot season. The real heat ignites as both Jeff and Eve’s simple-minded brother, Chuck, vie for Linda’s attention. In a comical twist, Linda’s intentions are directed toward Eve. With Alma Kerns, a friend and sex expert trained by her mortician boyfriend Red Bishop, Eve is persuaded to use Linda’s interest to get closer to Jeff. But as things get more tangled, Linda reveals she’d rather be with Eve, prompting Jeff to ‘rescue’ her, inadvertently dragging Chuck into the mix.
