Ted Morgan has been drifting through life without direction. After experiencing the heartbreak of his wife leaving, Ted feels a complete lack of purpose in his life. Gathering all his bravery, he opts to return to his hometown and confront those he believes contributed to his current state of emptiness. However, life is unpredictable, and as Ted becomes more resolute in facing his past, seeking resolution, and pulling away from his family, he gets increasingly entangled in their hectic lives.
