Held Up

As Michael and Rae enjoy their vacation in the Southwest, Rae discovers Michael has blown their savings on a vintage car, prompting her to leave him and hitch a ride to Las Vegas for a flight back home. Michael soon finds himself stranded after a young boy steals his cherished car, leaving him stuck at the Zip & Sip convenience store. Chaos ensues when three clumsy robbers initiate a heist; two escape with the money, leaving the third behind with a mysterious crate just as the police show up. The lone robber takes everyone in the store hostage. As inept officers assemble a SWAT team and attempt a textbook rescue approach, Michael must work to placate the robber, uncover the crate’s contents, assist in negotiations, and eventually reconcile with Rae.
