Happy

Florent, a 23-year-old from Paris, unexpectedly crosses paths with Alessia, a Texan girl who’s also exploring the streets of Paris. Both have just finished college and are standing at a pivotal point in their lives. They find themselves caught between the opportunities of a globalized world and the burdens of adult responsibilities, especially under the strain of the global economic situation. Florent harbors dreams of moving to America, while Alessia is drawn to France, dreaming of fulfilling her mother’s unfulfilled aspirations. Their journey is further enriched by interactions with Marion and Louis, Florent’s closest confidants, Coralie, his former flame, and Thomas, a waiter they encounter in Normandy. As they navigate these relationships, they gain deeper insights into the complexities of their era. This exploration allows them to question their place in this ever-changing world.
