Grey Owl

In the early 1930s, Archie Grey Owl, a trapper in Canada, receives a life-changing request from an Iroquois woman who wishes to learn about Indian traditions. As they reside in the forest together, her horror at the fate of trapped animals becomes evident, prompting her to care for two orphaned beaver kits. This act of compassion inspires Archie to abandon trapping in favor of becoming a guide and naturalist writer. Subsequently, he is enlisted by the Canadian government to help preserve the beaver population at Lake Ajawaan in Prince Albert National Park. After penning a biography that garners him fame in Canada and lectures in England, he and Anahareo, also known as Pony, get married.
