Vittorio Zemeli is a man in his sixties, residing in a European city known for its gloomy skyline and river. His life is largely solitary, with the TV providing him company. One evening, while he dines alone, Vittorio notices an actor on TV who is his mirror image, and shockingly, this character commits suicide on screen. The following day, he is filled with apprehension as he heads to work.
