Overview
Join New York City conductor Arturo O’Farrill, the visionary behind the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, as he ventures to Veracruz, Mexico. There, he encounters skilled musicians preserving the 300-year-old son jarocho folk music tradition. Together, they participate in “Fandango Fronterizo,” a significant music festival held simultaneously on both sides of the US-Mexico border, transforming the wall into a symbol of unity rather than division.
