Eastern Boys

They hail from various corners of Eastern Europe, including Russia, Romania, and Chechnya. These youths, known as the Eastern boys, gather around the bustling Gare du Nord train station in Paris. The oldest among them seem no older than 25, but it’s impossible to discern the age of the youngest. Their activities remain mysterious, and while some may suspect they are involved in prostitution, nothing is definitive. Muller, a reserved man in his late fifties, becomes intrigued by one of them, a young man named Marek. Mustering up courage, Muller strikes up a conversation with him one afternoon.
