This film is a modern adaptation of the 1989 classic, Doraemon Movie 10: Nobita no Nippon Tanjou. The story follows Nobita and his friends as they escape their daily lives by journeying back 70,000 years, to a time before Japan existed. Eventually, they return to the present but accidentally bring along Kukuru, a young caveman. They must take Kukuru back to his primitive era and rescue his tribe, the Hikari, from the clutches of the Giganzonbie and Kurayami tribes.
