Children of the Night

In “Children of the Night (2014),” the narrative unfolds in an isolated community inhabited by young vampires ranging in age from 4 to 120, all of whom fell prey to merciless adult vampires. This haven is governed by a powerful, devout former nurse whose life’s mission is to rescue these ‘lost souls’ and nurture them within her colony. Through teachings and rituals inspired by Catholicism and occasional forays into nearby towns for sustenance, she prepares the young vampires for a divine plan: the creation of a new human race through ‘natural cloning,’ achieved by her children’s bite.
