Burlesque

The Burlesque Lounge, once the pinnacle of glitzy performances, is now a shadow of its former glory. As Tess, a former dancer and the theater’s owner, battles various financial and creative obstacles, she struggles to maintain her beloved venue. Meanwhile, troupe members are bogged down by their own issues, and a rich businessman aims to take over, threatening the lounge’s future. Into this scene steps Ali, a young woman from a small Iowa town, whose life is on the cusp of transformation. Hired by Tess as a waitress, Ali leaves her past behind and becomes enchanted by the world of burlesque. Thanks to new friendships with the theater’s staff, she chases her dreams and graces the stage herself.
