Bubble Boy

In the film “Bubble Boy” (2001), we follow Jimmy, a young man who has spent his entire life inside a plastic bubble due to a lack of an immune system. His heart yearns for Chloe, the girl next door, but when she plans to marry her high school sweetheart, Jimmy embarks on a cross-country adventure, bubble suit in tow, to win her heart. Swoosie Kurtz plays Jimmy’s overly cautious mother, adding a layer of humor alongside Fabio, who appears as the leader of an eccentric religious cult.
