Blood Child

Blood Child (2017) is a compelling horror thriller inspired by real events. The story follows Bill and Ashley DiAngelo, who appear to have the perfect life, with an exciting overseas opportunity in Singapore and a baby on the way. However, when tragedy strikes and they lose the baby, Ashley spirals into depression. Unknown to her husband, Ashley becomes convinced that the path to connecting with her lost child lies in an esoteric Southeast Asian ritual to summon a “ghost child.” She enlists the help of her maid, Siti, to locate a bomoh, or witch doctor, skilled in capturing the spirits of unborn children. Despite Siti’s attempts to deter her, Ashley remains undeterred in her quest. Meanwhile, Bill believes that starting afresh back in Minnesota might help heal their wounds.
