A visionary group of scientists is working on pioneering technology that converts human thoughts into images. This innovation, still in its early stages, transforms thoughts into basic visuals and shapes. Matthew Andrews and Sarah Austin, two interns on the team, get a unique opportunity to test the device while they study for their degrees in neurosurgery. Alongside other students, like Anne Plaven, they learn under the guidance of Dr. Marlen, a brain surgeon who introduces them to real-world challenges as bizarre deaths occur across the city. In the process of testing this groundbreaking technology, Austin begins to experience vivid mental images tied to the city’s mysterious murders.
