Zatoichi’s Revenge

The skilled blind swordsman and wandering masseur, Zatoichi, finds himself near the village of his mentor, Hikonoichi, prompting a visit. Upon arrival, he uncovers that Hikonoichi has been robbed and murdered, while his pure-hearted daughter, Osayo, has been unjustly imprisoned in a brothel. Zatoichi allies with Denroku, a dedicated dice thrower and caring father, revealing a corrupt union between the governor and a local strongman. Their deceitful activities include falsifying taxes to enslave farmers and push their daughters into forced labor at the brothel.
