NON PLUS ULTRAS is a comedy with a deeper social commentary, offering a satirical glimpse into the lives of five die-hard supporters of a Prague football club. These devoted fans idolize their English counterparts, often mimicking their every move. Bejcak, the unofficial leader, is a charismatic 30-year-old with a knack for misusing foreign terms amusingly. Among the group, Tycka, a solitary man in his forties, is taken under Bejcak’s wing despite the age difference. Pejsek, a stuttering young man, is an enthusiastic admirer of “English” culture, while Potapec and Vocko join in with their antics, adding to the group’s unruly reputation.
