Drunks

As the scene opens on an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at night, Jim is visibly struggling. His sponsor urges him to speak, marking the first time in seven months, and he takes the advice but leaves immediately after. The film follows Jim as he roams through familiar neighborhoods, revisiting bars and parks where he once bought drugs, in search of some peace. Meanwhile, the meeting continues, offering us glimpses into the lives of various members, such as Louis, who wandered in by mistake and denies being an alcoholic, and Joseph, who reveals how his addiction nearly took his child’s life.
