Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes is an animated TV series inspired by the renowned Fantastic Four comic series by Marvel Comics. This marks the fourth animated adaptation of the team, blending anime-style 2D art with 3D computer animation crafted by the French studio MoonScoop in association with their Taffy Entertainment division. The series was created in collaboration with Cartoon Network. Initially broadcast in the US on Cartoon Network as part of Toonami beginning September 2, 2006, the show faced an inconsistent schedule, airing only 8 of its 26 episodes before being abruptly removed. It made a comeback on June 9, 2007, coinciding with the release of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, but again only 9 additional episodes were shown, leaving 9 episodes unaired in the U.S. The series briefly appeared on Boomerang before transitioning to the Nicktoons Network, which aired the remaining episodes in winter 2009.
