When six-year-old Sophie tragically loses her parents, she is placed under the care of her distant aunt, Annabelle. The two move into an expansive, mysterious Victorian home where Sophie discovers a locked wooden box marked with an unusual symbol. Eager to bond with Sophie, Annabelle unlocks the box to reveal an exquisite music box. As its eerie tune plays longer each time, Sophie becomes increasingly entranced.
