According to tradition, exhuming and relocating a corpse every 30 years is believed to bring continuous good fortune and prosperity to its family lineage. With the deadline approaching for his grandfather’s remains, TV station executive Kelvin Chow (played by Kelvin Kwan, known from Tales from the Dark 2) reaches out to Charlie Jiang (portrayed by Yuen Biao), as his forebears have previously conducted this ritual for the Chow family. When Jiang declines, claiming the practice is unethical, Chow turns to Nicky and Boo to compel him to proceed.
