Overview
The captivating show “Celtic Woman: Believe” (2011) showcases the exceptional talents of vocalists Chloë Agnew, Lisa Kelly, and Lisa Lambe, alongside the talented fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt. This remarkable album highlights re-releases from their earlier works, with one new original song, “Princess Toyotomi,” which was originally featured in the film of the same name. It’s the first time that nine members, both past and present, have come together for a single album. Released on January 24, 2012, the album and a live performance DVD from the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, feature brand new music by Agnew, Kelly, Lambe, and Nesbitt. The performance aired on PBS stations in December 2011 and included exclusive pieces like “A Tribute To Broadway,” performed by Agnew, Lambe, and Kelly, and “Mná na hÉireann,” played by Nesbitt, although these were not included in the CD. Upcoming European and North American tour dates for 2012 have been announced, though Lisa Kelly will sit this one out due to her pregnancy, with Susan McFadden stepping in as her replacement.
