In the Family

In the quiet town of Martin, Tennessee, young Chip Hines has enjoyed a happy childhood with his two fathers, Cody and Joey. They’ve built a wonderful life together. Tragedy strikes when Cody unexpectedly passes away in a car accident, leaving Joey and Chip trying to piece their lives back together. Just as they begin to recover, Cody’s will reveals that his sister is to be Chip’s guardian, shattering years of Joey’s acceptance within the family as Chip is removed from his care. Alone at home, Joey desperately seeks a resolution. Although the law offers no support, Joey finds solace among friends who inspire him with Cody’s cherished memories, enabling him to find peace with the family and reconnect with his son.
