Sammy and Ray, two inseparable leatherback turtles, are relishing the sun and sand at a peaceful atoll, guiding young hatchlings, Ricky and Ella, on their maiden voyage to the sea. Their tranquil life is turned upside down when a poacher captures them for an extravagant aquarium display meant to enthrall tourists in Dubai. In this new world, they’re taken under the wing of Big D, a seahorse with grand plans for a daring escape. Alongside a quirky team of allies including Jimbo the wide-eyed blobfish, Lulu the brisk lobster, Annabel the affectionate octopus, and an entire penguin family, Sammy and Ray devise their own escape efforts. Amidst the unfolding adventure, Ricky and Ella make a courageous attempt to rescue them.
