What lengths would you go to in order to stay with your true love? In 2003, during a time of conflict in a nation where being gay is illegal, two Iraqi men cross paths and unexpectedly fall in love. Nayyef, who works as a translator with the U.S. military, and Btoo, an Iraqi soldier, are under threat of persecution and potential death if they remain in Iraq. Nayyef eventually manages to secure a visa and moves to Seattle, where he dreams of reuniting with Btoo in a safe haven where their love is liberated. Watch “Out of Iraq (2016)” here.
