Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board

Teen snowboarding sensation Johnny Kapahala from Vermont finds himself back in Oahu, Hawaii, to attend the wedding of his idol, his legendary surfing grandfather Johnny Tsunami. In addition to enjoying the renowned waves of Kauai, Johnny gets acquainted with his new family, including “Uncle Chris,” the 12-year-old son of his step-grandmother. Chris isn’t thrilled about the marriage and seems focused solely on joining a mountain boarding group led by a local bully. As tensions rise, Johnny’s grandfather and his new bride open a surf shop that also serves mountain boarders, sparking a turf battle with a competing shop owner who seeks to shut them down.
