Overview
A girl without a name and with a habit of taking pills arrives in a New Jersey neighborhood and visits a local bar run by two middle-aged brothers, Jimmy and Victor. She forms a quick bond with Victor, the kindly yet dim-witted elder brother who has been mentally impaired since a childhood injury. As “The Girl” wades into their lives, she introduces chaos as well as a renewed sense of energy, unsettling the fragile harmony that had existed in both their lives and the community around them.
